Red Maximus puppies come with full ACA registration papers (excepting white pups which will be sent home with limited registrations). Also, we will provide a health certificate, shot record, first week's food and a tip sheet for care and feeding. All buyers will be required to sign the following contract before deposit will be held or, if paying in full, the puppy transferred in ownership:

Puppy Contract

Our puppies are given the best of care while in our home, and it is our firm belief that they are in good health upon leaving our home. All puppies receive a certification of health from a licensed veterinarian who has visited our home - puppies have received their first round of shots by six weeks of age and worming is up to date. We certainly do not predict or expect any of our pups to carry congenital defects, or for our owners to experience any health issues with their new family member, but by signing the following contract, the buyer is protecting his/her interests. Please contact us immediately if you have questions or concerns. If you have purchased a puppy from us and it is determined that he/she has a hereditary disorder, we definitely want to know about it whether you are exchanging him/her or not.

Buyer agrees to have puppy checked by a licensed vet within 3 business days of receiving him/her. Failure to comply with this stipulation will cause this agreement to become void. If the puppy has not visited the Veterinarian as agreed, within the 3 business day time frame, NO exchange will be considered. This return period will not include return/refund for reasons of buyer’s remorse, landlord issues, etc.

If, within the 3 business day time period, a licensed veterinarian detects a congenital defect and the buyer notifies the seller within this time period, the buyer is then entitled to an exchange if/when another puppy is available or full refund of the original purchase price (provided the request from the buyer is accompanied by a letter from a licensed examining veterinarian as evidence of the puppy's condition and can be verified by seller's veterinarian). Stage I Heart murmur not included in this guarantee as many pups, especially Boxers, are in no way affected by a stage I murmur and the majority of these cannot be detected following the age of 10-16 weeks. If our vet has detected such a murmur, your shot record will contain this information. No monetary refund can be made after the aforementioned time period. The puppy must then be returned (in good physical condition). The buyer/owner is responsible for any and all veterinarian expenses. Refund/return will not be made for reasons other than congenital defect.

Note - Congenital defects detected in the puppy after the 3 business day time period but prior to puppy reaching one year of age: If the above criteria for verification are met, and provided another puppy is available/will be available on premises, seller agrees to exchange puppy free of charge. No veterinarian expenses will be reimbursed and no refund will be issued – exchange only.

• The seller is not responsible for any veterinarian charges incurred by the buyer. The buyer takes full responsibility for the health and well-being of the puppy upon taking possession of the puppy and as soon as the puppy leaves the seller's premises.

• White puppies have a greater chance than their colored siblings of deafness or blindness. If you are purchasing a white puppy, we will disclose any testing results, but cannot guarantee that a white puppy which has passed hearing testing will always retain perfect hearing. Hearing loss in white puppies may not fully develop until the weeks following delivery. Research results show that anywhere from 11-18% of pure white boxers may have hearing loss in one or both ears. Research also shows that this is the only common health issue with white Boxers – they are just as healthy as any other “colored” Boxer puppy other than the increased chance for deafness.

• The seller is not responsible for any veterinarian charges incurred by the buyer.

• This guarantee is non-transferable.

• Please bear in mind that an 8-week-old puppy is highly susceptible to disease - ours will have their first round of shots, but your best defense is to resist the urge to expose your new puppy to the outside world (such as mountain stream water) or strange dogs until following the third shot series. Seller not responsible 48 hours post-sale for any viral infections puppy may contract as these are highly contagious (ie. leptovirus, parvo, corona).

• If at any time in its life, the puppy is to be sold or given away, the Buyer shall notify the breeder and give the breeder first option to take the puppy back or make arrangements to re-home it. No monies will be exchanged.

• We will never knowingly adopt a puppy to a puppy mill/broker or pet store - no exceptions!

• Puppy must be paid 'in full' by 8 (eight) weeks of age if making payments or all monies paid and all claims to the puppy will be forfeited. All deposits are non-refundable. Red Maximus Boxers has worked hard to guarantee homes for the puppies well before the 8-week release date in order that they receive the best homes possible. If the buyer has paid a deposit and wishes not to continue with the purchase of the puppy, time has been lost and other prospective buyers who may have been interested in that specific puppy are no longer available.

• Please make this puppy a real member of your family. Do not place it outside permanently, in a kennel or on a chain. Boxers are not physically equipped to survive our harsh temperatures. Red Maximus Boxers screens for this in the first interviews with prospective owners and would never knowingly adopt a puppy to an owner who intended to do so.

• The Buyer agrees that the Kennel may continue to use the puppy's name, image and other information in advertising Red Maximus Boxers.

Please make a copy of this agreement and sign below. A signed copy of this form will be returned to you. This completed form must be returned with your deposit if paying in advance.
